Pesky upper sway bar link nuts : Monroe 171572R Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly

Installed on 2001 Grand Caravan ES with 150K miles. As mentioned, the sway bar link nuts common to the struts are difficult to remove. Mine proved impossible though the nuts common to the sway bar came off fine. Be prepared with new sway bar links or make sure you can move these nuts before starting this job. Beyond this issue, replacement went very smoothly and the post-job alignment was almost unnecessary according to the shop. Replaced rear shocks at same time. Handling and braking is noticeably improved. After a few days of driving the sway bar link nuts needed a retorque.
